well... it finally happened... nearly a year on the job, and i finally overslept so long that I had to call to let the boss know i was going to be late... overslept by 2 hours! usually it's just 15 or 20 minutes, which i can easily make-up by taking a super short shower and not styling my hair, and still make it to work on time... but not this morning... i don't know how it happened... i don't have any recollection of my alarms going off... and when i did finally wake up, both alarms were still set to go off at 6am... so i either slept through 2 minutes of continous alarm bells till they automatically reset, or i turned off the alarm when it sounded, and then turned it back on... all in my sleep... oy...
it wasn't a problem that i was late for work, but that i'm going to be here till 6pm this evening... blah... traffic is gonna be a bitch going home... it will probably be 7:30 before i get home... ugh... if i weren't so opposed to eating in my new car, i should probably buy something quick for dinner and eat it on the slow ride home...
i hope the fiasco this morning isn't an indication of how the rest of the day will go...
